Ryan and Jimmy were married on a warm autumn day in Boise.
The ceremony was held at the MK Nature Center, and it was aglow with vibrant fall color.
There were lots of sentimental aspects to the day, from the bride wearing her grandmother’s jewelry, to the gorgeous arbor, hand crafted by the groom.
The couple stopped by their favorite bar, (where they had their first date,) and also made a visit to the homes they lived in across from one another when they first met as next-door neighbors.
The reception was held at the Historic Basque Center, where Ryan’s parents, and grandparents also had their receptions.
And the desert served was yet another special labor of love….dozens of huckleberry pies adorned the tables for guests to enjoy. The huckleberries were picked in the Idaho mountains by Ryan’s parents just for the reception, and each pie was lovingly hand-made from scratch. I have to say…it was the best pie I’ve ever tasted in my life. (Sorry, Mom.)
This day was such a special celebration of love. Thank you, Ryan & Jimmy for sharing it with me! Congratulations!
